Care
Soft tissue work
Hands-on work on muscles and the tissue around joints, as part of a chiropractic visit.
It is done by the chiropractor, in the same visit as the exam or an adjustment, and only on the areas you agree on.

What to expect
What a visit includes
A talk and a short exam first, then the work you agree on.
Hands-on work on the areas you and the chiropractor agree on
A foam roller or a handheld device, if you want one used
Pressure that changes the moment you ask
How long and how often
It adds a few minutes to a visit, as long as the chiropractor recommends. We do not promise a number of visits, and you can stop at any time.
What we do not claim
We do not promise results, and results vary. We make no claims about conditions, and this is not a massage appointment.
Risks
Soreness for a day or two is common. Tell the chiropractor if anything hurts during the work, and the pressure changes or stops.
See a physician first
See a physician first for a swollen, hot or very painful area, a fever, or numbness or weakness that is new. Your chiropractor may ask you to see one before care.
How it is paid
It is part of a visit, so it is billed as a visit, or it is covered by the monthly plan. We do not bill insurance. You can cancel the plan any time, with a pro rata refund.

Is this a massage?
No. It is hands-on work by your chiropractor as part of a chiropractic visit, aimed at the areas you and the chiropractor agree on.
Will it be sore afterward?
It can be, for a day or two. Tell us how you felt at your next visit and the chiropractor adjusts what they do.
